Puma’s offices in Boston and Welford are set to be moved to the company’s new North America headquarters in Somerville, Massachusetts, in 2021. The larger, unified location will provide the company with five floors of office space, totaling 150,000 square feet.

“The new headquarters will allow us to better collaborate, foster diversity of thought, creativity and innovation”, said Bob Philion, President and CEO of Puma North America, in a statement, adding that Somerville is a “diverse, vibrant city” where the company can recruit “the best talent across front and back-end operations”.

Puma intends to have approximately 550 positions at the new location once the move is complete, which means its workforce will grow more than 20 percent. Those working in the new premises will have access to several benefits such as a fitness center, on-location kids room, and ample bike storage.
