Stüssy selects Relex to unify global merchandise and inventory planning
Stüssy has selected Finnish retail planning software company Relex Solutions to connect its forecasting, replenishment and merchandise financial planning across its global operations.
The platform will be used across Stüssy's stores, e-commerce and distribution centres, Relex said in a statement on Wednesday. The aim is to improve demand forecasting, strengthen inventory decisions and give the brand's planning teams more time for strategic analysis.
Stüssy designs and markets menswear, womenswear and accessories, which it sells through its own stores and through skate, surf, department and specialty retailers. Its business spans North America, Europe and Asia.
Relex will support forecasting and replenishment alongside open-to-buy and merchandise financial planning. According to the company, bringing these functions together will give Stüssy's teams greater visibility into demand and lost sales, informing future buying decisions and supporting sales and seasonal sell-through.
Stüssy has also appointed Neos by Argon, an implementation partner of Relex, to roll out the new planning approach across its network.
"Stüssy knows where it wants to take its planning organization and has set a clear bar for what success looks like," said Frank Lord, chief revenue officer at Relex Solutions. "Better visibility into customer demand will help the team make more informed buying decisions and plan with confidence and we're excited to support them as they build for the next stage of growth."
Relex describes its platform as AI-native and says it serves more than 700 customers worldwide, including Carhartt, M&S Food, Rituals and The Body Shop.
