Tenth Avenue Commerce invests in Kerrits Activewear

New York and Connecticut-based e-commerce holding company Tenth Avenue Commerce (TAC) just announced a strategic growth investment. The investment for the company was in performance apparel label Kerrits Activewear.

The company invested in Kerrits, which currently markets and distributes its activewear, in order to help the label grow. Founder and chief executive officer Kerri Kent still retains a significant ownership stake int he company as of now. He will also remain as CEO for Kerrits Activewear. "It's a privilege to partner with Kerrits and to be entrusted with helping the company realize its vision for growing the company," said Michael Chapin, CEO of Tenth Avenue Commerce. "Kerrits is considered the industry leader in the equestrian apparel market and is strategically positioned for strong future growth opportunities."

Founded over 30 years ago as a lifestyle brand, Kerrits offers performance wear and active apparel. As an industry leader in performance apparel as well as equestrian clothing, the brand's products consist of five categories: women's tops, women's bottoms, children's tops, children's bottoms, and riding accessories. The Washington-based brand has created a compelling label and in partnership with TAC, which ultimately broadens the company's portfolio and digital presence.
