The Very Group reports record earnings as Very UK revenue rises
The Very Group, which operates online retailers Very and Littlewoods, has reported record adjusted earnings for the 52 weeks to June 27, 2026, despite challenging market conditions.
Adjusted EBITDA before securitisation interest increased 3.4 percent year-on-year to 317.5 million pounds, while the margin reached a record 15.2 percent. Group revenue remained broadly stable at 2.09 billion pounds, with Very UK revenue rising 1.3 percent to 1.86 billion pounds. Debt fell by 150 million pounds, reducing net leverage from 3.62 times to 2.80 times.
Very Finance revenue grew 7.1 percent to 464.5 million pounds, while the retailer’s home category recorded 6.4 percent growth. Toys and beauty sales increased 3.2 percent, but fashion and sports declined 4.6 percent. Sports was a stronger performer, growing 9.7 percent, supported by the return of Nike in spring 2026.
During the year, Very added more than 80 brands, including Estée Lauder and Salomon, and expanded delivery and returns options through a partnership with InPost UK. The group also migrated more than 95 percent of customer traffic to its new cloud-based Skyscape platform by year-end, completing the process shortly afterwards.
Chief executive officer Robbie Feather said the group had delivered its “best earnings performance” while continuing to invest in its retail and credit proposition. For FY27, the group plans to broaden its appeal and explore further growth opportunities.
