Think PR—the bi-coastal communications firm—has rebranded with a new name: Sequel. The boutique publicity agency, which is based in New York and Los Angeles and was founded in 2001, announced on Mar. 3 the start of its new chapter, sharing that it will now be known as Sequel to mark its heritage in shaping the cultural conversation for almost two decades.

Led by Elaine Drebot-Hutchins and Tracey Manner, the company will continue to specialize in fashion, hospitality, beauty, and wellness. Its services include media relations, celebrity influencer and engagement, digital strategy, marketing strategy, events, and more. In this new chapter, Sequel will now be offering affiliate marketing services.

Sequel’s current client roster includes fashion brands such as Free People, Missoma, and Century 21 Department Stores.

“As brand storytellers, it became clear to us that it was time to apply our expertise to ourselves—to redefine our identity and retell our story,” the company’s principals, Drebot-Hutchins and Manner, at Sequel shared. “We are not the original founders of the firm and while our work has certainly defined its legacy, its foundation was inherited.”
