With Los Angeles Fashion Week in the recent month, global sourcing communities like Tradegood are largely affected. Tradegood connects compatible buyers and suppliers in order to maximize profit and build long-lasting partnerships between companies.
The fashion buying experience is largely impacted by businesses such as Tradegood. “Tradegood verified process enhances the transparency for the fashion industry,” said Joe Bernstein, business development manager of Tradegood. Buyers and suppliers are thoroughly examined before being accepted by their company. Their comprehensive process includes research, screening, and interactive communication. “Tradegood fashion experts will do the trend research, and then have an on-site sample screening at factories, giving advice and feedback to chosen suppliers, and finally showcasing on-trend products at Tradegood Trend Boutique,” said Bernstein.
Tradegood Trend Boutique makes process easier for buyers
The new boutique, added just last month, is a fashion showroom where buyers, private manufacturers, and brand holders are able to select new and upcoming trendy products at low prices. The products are available year round and are from reliable suppliers. Due to Los Angeles fashion week, the buyer visits increase. “We have increased number of buyer visits to the Tradegood Trend Boutique during the fashion week,” said Bernstein.
Typically in the past, buyers did not necessarily know where their products came from. By eliminating this factor, buyers can choose their sources via the Trend Boutique and know exactly which factory is manufacturing the product. Their model intends to create a more facilitated version of what's been done in the past, offering a one-stop shop sourcing model. “It’s convenient for them to stop by here and source for their next season’s products afterwards,” said Bernstein.
The intensive process of buyer and supplier evaluations have equated to their success in the past year. The company plans to hold a factory showcase at the end of every month at the Tradegood Trend Boutique. The theme is adjusted in accordance to the latest market trends and buyer requests. “In 2014, there were a total of 216 matching events organized by Tradegood and created over 2,000 business opportunities to both buyer and supplier members,” said Bernstein. By 2015, the company hopes to breakthrough this record and connect with responsible buyers and trust suppliers.
