October 2015 same-store sales at Uniqlo Japan, part of the Fast Retailing Group increased by 5.5 percent year on year while sales at its own stores increased by 4.5 percent.
The company said that total sales including online sales increased by 5.9 percent. Same-store sales rose year on year in October, it said, with the cold weather boosting sales of Fall/Winter ranges. The company opened nine Uniqlo stores in Japan during the month, while closed eight stores.
