Sneaker culture gets a pop-up museum in Los Angeles

Sneakertopia, the first-ever pop-up museum dedicated to the sneaker industry and the culture that surrounds it, will be opening its doors on Oct. 25, 2019 in Los Angeles.
According to an announcement from the brand, the museum will provide an immersive pop art experience that provides an inside look at sneaker culture through the lens of sports, music, film, fashion, art, humor, and parody.
“Sneakers have been a lightning rod for empowerment and expression over the past century, reaching across generations, backgrounds , and borders,” the announcement stated. “This phenomenon merges culture, creativity and commerce will take center stage at Sneakertopia.”
Sneakertopia will be open to the public on Oct. 25 at 6081 Center Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90045. General admission tickets are available for 38 USD.
