Los Angeles - For Spring 2017, two major trade shows are joining forces. Capsule and Axis, both owned by Reed Exhibitions, are going to team up for a duo show that will exhibit this year in both Los Angeles and New York.

Axis will have a part of Capsule’s show where it focuses mostly on active lifestyle, as reported by WWD. The show, which launched last year, has over 200 collections of women’s clothing. The show will debut at Capsule’s women’s New York Show as well as Los Angeles’ fall show this year. The show will include a variety of categories including activewear, swimwear, athleisure, sportswear, and more. “By incorporating Axis as well as a well-rounded special section within the show, we can provide retailers with a more streamlined shopping experience and a deeper selection of the women’s market’s hottest categories right [now],” co-founder of Capsule Deirdre Maloney told WWD.

The show will be in September 17-19 in New York and in Los Angeles this October. Capsule has been an established women’s show since 2007. Based in New York, the show usually exhibits over 600 brands. Capsule also has shows in Paris and recently started doing shows in Los Angeles. For this year’s California shows, the trade show will take place in the fashion district at the California Market Center.
