The Danish label Beck Söndergaard was established in 2003 by Lis Beck and Anna Søndergaard. The two businesswomen were aiming to create an accessories brand that would offer stylish, original designs at a not unreasonable cost.

Starting from a small collection of accessories handmade from eel skin sourced from South Korea, the duo built up a successful, international fashion label. Initially they went from door to door, trying to interest Copenhagen's shops in the collection. In this way they gained experience that the business still makes use of to steer its 1,400 sales outlets in Europe, Japan and the USA.

A typically Scandinavian design ethos continues to characterise Beck Söndergaard's work, but always accentuated by a subtly ironic approach. The brand's scarves and wraps have proved particularly popular with the public. Whether it's made from wool, silk, modal or cotton, Beck Söndergaard has the right neck wear for every season. The Autumn/Winter collection for 2016 was inspired by two of New York's most important female fashion figures: Diane von Fürstenberg and Diana Vreeland: 70s influences meet a relaxed boho look.

Morten Roed Simonsen, Sales Manager and Key Account Manager is pleased to be back again at Premium this season. "We have worked together with Premium over many years and are confident that this trade fair is the right partner for us. It is a perfect match with Beck Söndergaard's DNA and has high visitor footfall, a great brand setting and a very upbeat atmosphere. We will be meeting both existing and new customers there. We are looking forward to the new season, which begins for us at Premium."

You can find Beck Söndergaard at Premium Berlin, located in Hall 1 Stand A-26.
