The Echo Park Craft Fair returns to LA this weekend inviting local designers to showcase their latest works. The fair will take place in Silver Lake at Mack Sennett Studios this Saturday and Sunday.

The fair includes over 70 vendors that will display their merchandise. The designers gather to show off different modes of artistry such as fashion apparel, accessories, beauty products, modern services, and more. In deciding what designers are featured, the founders, Beatrice Valenzuela and Rachel Craven, pay attention to uniqueness and quality. “We like things that are timeless, feminine, and made with integrity,” said Valenzuela. Artists include Black Crane, Mamahuhu, Vardo Tarot, Ultra Violet Kids, Arc of LA, Rachel Craven and more.

The Echo Park Craft Fair was founded in 2009 by its dynamic curators Valenzuela and Craven. In visualizing a safe space for craftspeople and artisans, the duo teamed up to create an inclusive fair where designers could showcase their work. “The more we help each other, the stronger we become,” said Valenzuela.

The idea started with craftspeople meeting in Valenzuela’s backyard, but now the event hosts over 3000 guests in its duration. The most recent fair featured approximately 70 artists.
