LA Men's Market to return this October

Los Angeles - The LA Men’s Market has just announced its new Summer 2017 Show dates. Returning for its third year at the California Market Center, the trade show will take place on October 18 and 19.

The idea to have the show during mid-October was strategically planned. The new dates will coincide with Los Angeles Fashion Market dates, which will be beneficial to the fashion industry and buyer traffic in downtown Los Angeles. “It’s no secret that retail is tough right now which is why we focus on bringing a high value proposition to our exhibitors every season,” said Kellen Roland, founder of LA Men’s Market. The trade event is known for bringing brands and buyers together to explore a variety of menswear labels. LA Men’s Market is the premier trade show for Summer and Holiday seasons specifically. The downtown-based event, located in the Fashion District, includes brands such as contemporary, action, lifestyle, footwear, and streetwear.

This year, the show will focus on having elite fashion brands with a wide range of apparel categories. However, the main idea is to bring in more and more buyers for L.A. “Beyond catering to our returning brands and finding key new additions, increasing buyer attendance is our [number one] focus,” said Roland. The show plans to do this by also expanding into women’s categories as well. The Summer 2017 show will also welcome Capsule Womens to the California Market Center. “Having another amazing show in town offers more value to the buyers who buy [both] men’s and women’s,” said Roland.

Although the show is planning to expand its brand attendance, it will still remain true to its original format. The trade event is mostly focused on providing both brands and buyers with a space to do business for both Summer and Holiday seasons. “Our show thrives off of providing an efficient platform for brands and buyers to do business, as everyone’s time is extremely valuable,” said Roland. Showcasing returning and fresh brands, the Summer 2017 LA Men’s Market Show will take place this year on October 18-19.
