Liberty Fairs and Capsule have both confirmed that they will not be at their usual location this year. Instead, the two trade events will be joining other trade events at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York.

This year, the trade shows will accompany Project and MRket at the new venue. As reported by WWD, Capsule and Liberty Fairs were not able to snag the location they usually host their show at. Instead of hosting at Pier 94 for their spring menswear shows, the two will be at the convention center. The move is not set to be permanent for future shows, according to the publication. “No matter where we travel, our vision remains the same — create enjoyable and memorable experiences for brands, retailers and editors,” Sam Ben-Avraham, founder of Liberty Fairs, told WWD.

As reported by FashionUnited previously, the two shows ran their shows last year from July 10 to 12. The two shows strategically placed their trade events to run concurrent with NYFW: Men’s. This year, it seems that there is no similar scheduling for the shows to choose Jacob Javits Convention Center instead of Pier 94. The shows will take place from July 17-19, while Mrket and Project will run from July 16-18.
