Local brand Matiere is hosting a temporary month-long pop-up in Los Angeles. At the Liberty Concept Space, the menswear luxury brand will pair up with the Liberty Fairs tradeshow starting this Saturday, August 29.

The brand is known for its tailored pieces using quality fabrics to create modern silhouettes. Pushing the boundaries of fabrication, the brand maintains and understated, refined point of view towards its fashion. The collaborative pop-up will run from this Saturday until next month September 27. Prices for Matiere’s ready-to-wear label range from 60 to 395 dollars. The Liberty Concept Space will feature Matiere’s menswear designs alongside local artists who will showcase their work for a shorter time period. Kate Bonner will display her pieces for the first two weeks and photographer Nicholas Maggie will showcase his photos the last two weeks.

The Liberty Concept Space has been open since 2013. The space curates forward-thinking brands and brings them together in a way that the fashion industry buyers can view them. The idea is to infuse commerce and creativity in an innovative way as a trade event. The Matiere label was also established in the year 2013. Headquartered in Newport Beach, the brand offers unique fabrics and styles through its label. The brand is available at high-end boutiques such as Ron Herman and American Rag.
