Womenswear trade fair Project Women’s, which is currently being held in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, has teamed up with Conscious Fashion Campaign and the UN Office for Partnerships. Together, they aim to recognize brands and designers that are working to end poverty, protect the planet, practice sustainability, and raise awareness about the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

“Project Women’s provides an important platform to mobilize the fashion industry to take action”, said Lucie Brigham, Chief of Office at the UN Office for Partnerships, in a statement. Project Women’s Brands recognized this season include Bitchsix, Doyenne, Good Hyouman, Panky, Indigenous, Pura Vida and Riley Vintage, among others.

A lookbook featuring these brands has been produced by Project Women’s in partnership with Egyptian-Australian model and content creator Mimi El-Ashiry. “I’m very passionate about raising awareness around the damage that we have been doing to our environment, and supporting brands who are making positive choices towards solutions”, said El-Ashiry.
