Apparel trade show Surf Expo just announced that it will be adding an entirely new section to its show. The showcase will add Bluewater, which will show saltwater apparel and merchandise.

The new showcase will take place in the brand's next show from January 25-27 in Orlando Florida. The trade fair has already confirmed companies such as Yeti, Salt Life, and Bimini Bay will be participating, according to Apparel News. “We are excited to return to Surf Expo and to be in the new Bluewater section,” Larry Laska, director of marketing for Salt Life, said in a statement. “Bluewater is the ultimate destination for those who live the salt life to see the latest innovations in saltwater apparel and gear."

Bluewater will be located on Surf Expo's show floor near the Paddle, Surf and Resort categories. While there are various apparel exhibitors at the show, it seems that Bluewater will be a nice complementary addition for the showcase. “For years Surf Expo has been a top trade event for brands rooted in the inshore and offshore apparel market including AFTCO, Sperry, Columbia, Avid, Pelagic and Mojo," Surf Expo show director Roy Turner said in a statement. "Recent show trends have seen a new group of brands and retailers emerge, especially in performance apparel. Creating this standalone category will address the growing market needs and provide our retail buyers with more opportunity. Bluewater is a perfect complement to our show’s existing sections.”
