The Imprinted Sportswear Show (ISS), the trade fair dedicated to the imprinted and decorated apparel industry, will change its name to Impressions Expo. The name is inspired by the trade show’s longtime sponsor, B2B publication Impressions Magazine.

The name change will be implemented on the upcoming trade show in Long Beach, California, set to take place in January 2020, with the subsequent events in Atlantic City, NJ; Orlando, FL; Houston, TX; and Fort Worth, TX; to follow suit.

Emerald Expositions, the company behind ISS, clarified in a press release that no further changes will be made to the event. “We are not changing the show or the core markets we serve”, said Show Director Josh Carruth. “Ultimately, Impressions is a name that is better representative of who we are, as we are not just sportswear”.

First held over 40 years ago, ISS showcases new products, apparel and equipment related to screen printing, embroidery, direct-to-garment printing, blank apparel, sublimation, heat transfers, product packaging, and promotional products.
