Los Angeles - In attunement with the month of fashion dress and costumes, the Vintage Fashion Expo will be returning to Los Angeles for October. Hosted at the Reef on Broadway in downtown Los Angeles, the expo will be a two-day event filled with retro-inspired vendors.

The expo will open its doors on Saturday, October 17, and will feature over 40 exhibitors. The marketplace is known to be California’s definitive vintage expo showcasing unique pieces in vintage design, style, and period pieces. So far, the Vintage Fashion Expo only exhibits in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Their expo up north was featured earlier this month on September 19. Although the Los Angeles exhibitors are not yet announced, some previous contenders have been HemLine, Patty Hubbard, Hot Couture, Vintage Rosemond, and more. This upcoming exhibition will be the second event put on by the Vintage Fashion Expo this year, as they hosted a previous marketplace earlier in May. The extravaganza ultimately is known for showcasing rare, retro finds in apparel, couture clothing, period pieces, fine jewelry, and more. Door ticket prices are 15 dollars per day or 20 dollars for a weekend pass.

The Vintage Fashion Expo is operated by a group of partners that focus on seeking out the best dealers across the nation to join in the vendor haven. Established in 1987 by a group of dealers, the San Francisco-based expo decided to create the event due to the growing interest in vintage and retro fashion. Partners include Fred Dueball, Elizabeth Normoyle, Robert Alvarez, Kristi Alvarez, Kyle Deise, and Kari Smith. In creating the project, the expo attracted global and international designers to sell their merchandise for collectors and vintage enthusiasts. The expo is most known for its unique, one-of-a-kind items.
