Los Angeles - Contemporary brand A.L.C. just launched its e-commerce site this week for U.S. customers. The brand just debuted its site at the address alctd.com to appeal to the U.S. market more.

The website was designed by the brand’s in-house team and New York-based design firm Sweden Unlimited. A.L.C offers its ready-to-wear, accessories, and handbags at the site for U.S. customers to purchase. The idea of launching the e-commerce site has to do with growing and launching the brand strategically. As reported by WWD, A.L.C.’s founder Andrea Lieberman states that the site is expected to make up 10 to 15 percent of the company’s total sales within the next three years. Given the brand’s popularity in the U.S., especially in Los Angeles, it seems that the estimation is valid.

Founded by Lieberman in 2009, the brand has received its own recognition as a premium contemporary line in Los Angeles. The brand is available at a number of retailers and specialty department stores including Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and more. Currently, e-commerce and digital marketing is A.L.C.’s main focus in brand building. However as the brand has recently launched online, the company plans to also open a brick-and-mortar soon. Lieberman also told WWD that she plans to open a permanent physical retail location soon, most likely in Los Angeles.
