Ada Kokosar teams with Hollywood Trading Company for Milan Fashion Week

In a new fusion of apparel, Milan and Los Angeles have come together for a new fall collection that just debuted. Italian stylist Ada Kokosar paired up with Hollywood Trading Company for a collaborative collection.

The collection includes various elements from both Kokosar’s Milan-inspired taste as well as Los Angeles fashion and culture. Pairing with Hollywood Trading Company was a natural step for the stylist due to the company’s past experience with leather materials. Kokosar stated to WWD that the company still “paint[s] and decorate[s] leather with studs by hand” which makes for intricate, high-quality pieces. Overall, the collection consists of “rock ‘n’ roll” inspired aesthetics with vinyl inserts, embellishments, and fur. Also, the pieces use other fine materials such as leather, sheepskin, and rabbit fur.

The Los Angeles and Milan fusion collection recently debuted at Milan Fashion Week. The collection includes five key looks which were all different interpretations of rocker style. Using various materials, the collection is comprised of detailed pieces with belt buckles, zippers, and also hand-painted designs. Prices were not disclosed for the collection. Currently, Ada Kokosar’s ready-to-wear pieces retail at & Other Stories, H&M’s sister store.
