Adidas Andrew Wiggins to be released Saturday

Adidas is set to release the 2015 Kia NBA Rookie of the Year's shoes on Saturday. The Minnesota Timberwolves Andrew Wiggins is just days away from seeing his sneaker be released in retail stores for the price of 130 dollars. Called the Crazylight Boost 2015, the shoe features a blue-and-black upper that uses Adidas's Primeknit material.

The outsole is black and blue with a white speckled pattern and white near its heel. The shoe also has an icy black translucent sole. To celebrate his Canadian roots, Wiggins has adorned the shoes with an "AW" logo for his initials and a maple leaf in the center of the A.

The Crazylight Boost 2015 is Adidas's most improved offering yet with higher responsiveness and energy return and 13 percent more Boost cushioning compared to past Boost offerings. A limited edition version of the Crazylight Boost 2015 was released in May in honor of Wiggins winning Rookie of the Year. That shoe featured maple leaves in the colors of Wiggins’ high school team, Huntington Prep in West Virginia; his college team, the Kansas Jayhawks; and the Timberwolves.
