Adidas Original just debuted a new collaboration with Amsterdam-based designer Danielle Cathari. At New York Fashion Week, the collection debuted on February 8.

The collaboration showed off a tribute to the Adidas Originals brand with its three stripes, as well as contrasting themes. The collection presents a modern take on the iconic brand including track suits, crop tops, elongated pants, and oversized bottoms. The collection also a has a palette including red, blue, green and yellow hues. The collaboration evokes a "unique, but equally as bold, contemporary relevance," according to a press release by the company.

Cathari showed as a part of the VFiles runway show for the first time ever during New York Fashion Week. As a student at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute, she designed a couple looks of deconstructed vitange Adidas tracksuits which she sourced herself from vintage stores. Using this concept, she help built this idea for her core collection. By repurposing materials, the new collaboration shows off a new take on the legendary brand. The collection is available now in the U.S. on Adidas.com as well as at the Adidas Originals flagship store.
