Air Jordan XXX1 will launch through The Draw
Aug 31, 2016
Air Jordans are making a comeback. This upcoming month, Nike has confirmed that their Air Jordan 1 High OG “Banned” will launch this week.
It’s been reported by Footwear News that the Air Jordans, also referred to as “Bred,” will launch online on September 3. Shoppers will have their chance at a pair of these “Banned” shoes through The Draw raffle on SNKRS. The retro shoes are iconic for their high-tops and Nike’s legendary logo strike. Priced at 160 dollars, Nike’s website states that the Air Jordan XXX1’s will be available starting at 10 a.m. this Saturday.
The shoes debuted originally in 1985 for the street and sports footwear crowd. Paying homage to basketball player Michael Jordan, these basketball shoes have played a huge role in fashion. The same year these shoes debuted, Jordan wore the original shoes while playing which caused the pair to become symbolic. After immense popularity, Air Jordan 1’s have returned with a couple upgrades. True to its roots, the new pair is constructed with premium leather and comes in black and red tones. Using The Draw, the shoes will become available later this week.
