Bringing denim to a new level, fashion mogul Alexa Chung just announced her newest collaboration. Teaming with Los Angeles-based jean-company AG, the British style icon helped to create a new capsule collection for the brand.

The new collaboration includes casual, comfort pieces that are largely inspired by Chung’s retro influences. Mixing luxury with everyday style, the denimwear brand and fashion icon paired together to create the ‘perfect’ denim wardrobe. “[T]he collection is inherently the missing pieces of my dream denim wardrobe, which, as ever, is predominantly inspired by a late 60s, early 70s aesthetic,” Chung told the Telegraph about the upcoming capsule collection. Known for her personal style aesthetic, which includes denim a majority of the time, the fashionista used inspirations from Los Angeles’ friends that she admires. “[A] lot of it was inspired by friends like Sarah Walker in L.A. She dresses like ‘Game of Thrones’-meets-motorbike-gang,” Chung told WWD.

The fabrics used for the collection include broken twill, corduroy, and chambray. Also, there are sweater pieces that come in wool, cashmere, and merino. The ready-to-wear collection consist of about 30 pieces, according to WWD. Prices range approximately from 98 to 1,249 dollars. The collection will be available at Montaigne Market initially, and eventually expand to other stores internationally July 23.

AG is known for for its crafted denim that reflect a modern sensibility in design. The brand was launched by Yul Ku in 2000. While its DNA is rooted largely in denim work, AG also offers other pieces of their collection that emphasize chic, sophisticated clothing. Based in Southern California, the company currently is sold at luxury retailers such as Barneys, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue. The company size includes about 200 employees.
