Los Angeles - Artists & Fleas returns to SoCal this weekend with its first event of the fall season. The indie marketplace is known for its downtown marketplace held in the Arts District hosting local vendors.

The event will include over 70 local talents including apparel, vintage merchandise, handcrafted goods, and more. The event entitles itself as an “artist, designer, and vintage” market and hosts events in Los Angeles, Williamsburg, and Chelsea every year. The vendor list for October includes Bare Bones, Love Meea, Tiny Whales, Trendy & Tipsy, Dizzy Cactus, and more. The Los Angeles marketplace opened last year in the summer of 2014. The event introduced underground art and craft shows into a mash-up of a flea-market environment with the sophistication of a fashion pop-up. The event also hosts food, drink, and specialty coffee places that offer their goods throughout the weekend as well. The event will take place Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Artists & Fleas is a local event filled with curated vendors bringing together the fashion community with a flea market aspect. The event was founded in 2003 by founders Amy Abrams and Ronen Gilmer. The original event first started in a warehouse based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Since then, the event has expected to Chelsea and Los Angeles as a hipster haven for local artists to share and shop their works.
