American clothing retailer Banana Republic recently unveiled a new business strategy. The retail chain will be following a see-now-buy-now format for its upcoming fashion show format as well as debuting a new collaboration.

For New York Fashion Week, Banana Republic will showcase its Fall 2017 location as well as selling its products in retail locations at the same time. Following the newest trend of see-now-buy-now, the company is aiming for more instant buying for its consumers. Additionally, the retailer will have pop-ups in SoHo, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. These pop-ups, curated by the brand’s global ambassador Olivia Palermo, will retail its fall collections. Palermo is also working with Banana Republic for a new collaboration that will launch this September. The collection will debut during this year’s fall NYFW.

Currently, no set details are available about the upcoming collaboration. It is expected that the pieces will be similar to Palermo’s sophisticated, chic style in pairing with Banana Republic’s timeless pieces. The mix of these two elemental styles together are likely to result in a classic, luxe collaboration. The launch date for the collection is not announced, but will likely be available during September if Banana Republic continues to follow its see-now-buy-now trend.
