Billabong just announced a second limited collection of Warhol Surf. The collaboration comes from Billabong LAB in order to support musicians, artists, designers, and more.

The collection's name comes from Billabong LAB working with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, a non-profit organization that leads funding for U.S. contemporary art. The collection itself is inspired by Warhol's art including polaroid graphics, black and white photography, silk screen paintings, and screen-prints as well. As Warhol was intertwined with the surf community, Warhol's art reflects a beach, surfer-life aesthetic.

"As we searched the archives and discovered more of Andy's unique and unsighted work, it illustrated the connection between his work and surf culture," says Billabong's Global Creative Director Brad Lancaster. "With this second drop of Warhol x Billabong we have brought these narratives and concepts to life again, colliding them with Billabong's iconic take on boardshorts, bikinis and complimentary products."

As the collection was just announced, currently Billabong has not set a release date. The collection will most likely be available on the brand's website as well as in Billabong stores.
