The New Mart building set in downtown Los Angeles is bringing the “New Mart Network” to the fashion industry.

As the first of its kind, the building introduces a YouTube and Podcast Series dedicated solely to news on the business side of fashion. The “New Mart Network” will introduce a web series that focuses on interviews with industry leaders, executives, and top talent in the fashion business. The episodes will delve into how these people got into the fashion business and also their current perspectives on fashion events. Also, the interviewees can discuss more in depth about their own companies in a new, accessible outlet. “Everyone has a story... Empowering, educational or inspiring--these stories should be told,” said Ethan Eller, manager of the New Mart building of 30 years.

New Mart, a registered L.A. historical landmark, showcases over 100 fashion showrooms in heart of L.A.’s fashion district. The building represents top fashion lines including Eileen Fisher, Lacoste, T. Smith & Co., Lucky Brand, XCVI, Silver Jeans Co., and others. As a frequent supporter of its tenants’ businesses, the building helps its clients progress in the fashion industry. “We enjoy facilitating growth and promoting healthy business,” said Eller.

The broadcast debuted April 6th with its first episode on Peter Kim of Hudson Jeans. Kim talks about the “Forever Forward” message and the brands’ foundation in responsible values.
