Calder Blake opens flagship in Los Angeles

Calder Blake, Los Angeles-based brand, brings its first-ever bricks-and-mortar store to Los Angeles in June.

The brand will debut the new flagship next month starting June 3 on Washington Place. Just outside of Santa Monica, the space will feature all of the brand’s collections at its new location. Also, the store will feature art (including photography from Todd Cole) for sale, exhibiting both apparel and artistry works.

Calder Blake uses natural fabrics that are carefully crafted for manufacturing. The collections feature fine linens and cotton that create her contemporary clothing. The boutique will offer a range of pieces from jersey tops, rompers, dresses, and bottoms. Prices for pieces from the Calder Blake collection range from 76 to 192 dollars.

Calder Blake, founded by Amanda Blake, is known for its carefully crafted clothing with a made-to-last trademark. The line is know for its classic, balanced style that encompass a California feel. Blake has a background in fashion design for studying at Parsons School of Design. Additionally, Blake worked in New York City and Los Angeles in the fashion for many years before turning entrepreneur. Currently, the designer resides in Venice and actively works with local craftsmen and artists to help support the local community.
