Luxury shoe brand Christian Louboutin has opened a pop-up in Southampton. To mark the opening of the brand’s first pop-up boutique in the Hamptons, Christian Louboutin hosted a garden party and sunset screening of the documentary “In the Footsteps of Christian Louboutin”, offering an in-depth look at the designer’s unique creative process.

The new pop-up brings Louboutin’s Parisian flair to the Hamptons. The expansive garden of the historic Thomas Halsey Homestead was transformed into an outdoor theater for the event. Guests at the opening party enjoyed signature cocktails in the garden before being seated for the premiere of the screening at picnic tables on the Loubi Lawn. The table top settings included a bespoke table runner printed with French artist John Vincent Simonet’s imagery, a reference to the custom wallpaper featured the Southampton pop-up boutique, which was designed by the artist.

The salon features cozy nooks where women feel like they are in a home of a friend who knows them. At the entrance, shelves are suspended by fisherman ropes and striped blue sofas offering tribute to the nautical spirit of the season.

A hybrid between a traditional beach house and the designer’s first boutique in the Galerie Véro Dodat in Paris, the Christian Louboutin Southampton pop-up boutique is a 1200 square-foot space that features men’s and women’s shoes and accessories collections. Open through December 2021, the pop-up will periodically receive exclusive or limited availability items. The first exclusive capsule collection is comprised of Louboutin’s men’s Espadon and women’s Nanou Orlato Flat. These styles are accompanied by Loubishore, a woven tote.
