Los Angeles - To mark a new festive season, Clare V. and Equipment have come together for a new collaboration.

Teaming Clare V.’s chic, simplistic handbags with Equipment’s timeless, elegant apparel; the two have created a collection that highlights both brands. The limited edition capsule collection combines Clare V.’s playful silhouettes with Equipment’s high-quality fabrics and prints. Together the two created sophisticated pieces that reflect a trendy, chic style. The 5-piece collection includes black croc styles for clutches as well as a zebra print. The idea of the collection was to bring together both aesthetics and produce a French-inspired collection. “[Equipment’s] French/Californian aesthetic resonates really well with our brand,” Clare Vivier of Clare V. told Racked LA. The pieces vary from bold in prints to minimalist in style with a high-quality fabric. Prices for the pieces range from 195 to 295 dollars.

Equipment was established in 1976 by Christian Restoin as a menswear brand. The brand was relaunched in 2010 by Serge Azria who saw a void in the contemporary marketplace. The newly relaunched Equipment then offered classic, sophisticated styles including luxury shirts for the modern woman. The brand is known for its effortless, chic feel and for ranging in style of prints, fabrics, and silhouettes. Equipment’s apparel ranges in style including silk blouses, slip dresses, jumpsuits, camis, shorts, and more. Prices start at 98 dollars and go up to about 678 dollars. Currently, Equipment has one location in SoHo, New York and one in Los Angeles, California.
