Converse expands its brand in Los Angeles through Amoeba Music

Converse, the classic trademark All Star shoes, recently decided to engage Los Angeles locals through a new medium: music. After its "Made By You" campaign was established in early March, the brand has decided to launch a temporary exhibition at Project Gallery partnering with Amoeba Music.

Amoeba Music, one of L.A.'s most established music haven's, joined forces with Converse in order to celebrate this new establishment of self-expression. The music shop and infamous shoe brand curated Chuck Taylor All Stars into an exhibition that gives a new perspective on their newest "Made By You" project. Each pair is a portrait represents someone's story. The shoes involves unique pairs from various musician including Patti Smith, Marc Weinstein, and King Tuff.

The exhibit opens this Thursday on April 30 and will run until May 6. The Project Gallery is located at 1553 N. Cahuenga Blvd. in Los Angeles.

Converse is known for its traditional American-styled shoes that brings a classic touch to modern style. With All Stars, its iconic brand has become popular worldwide. Along with launching the "Made By You" campaign, Converse also recently just converged with Missoni to produce a new collaboration.
