Founded in 2010, the company started off as a tote and bag label. Now in full force, Cuyana has decided to move forward with a full range wardrobe and accessories.

As the bag collection did well in terms of sales, it seems that moving forward with a bigger range of apparel was the natural next step. Recently, the contemporary label has started to offer silk tops, sweater sand capes, dresses, cotton tops, outerwear, loungewear and more. The company has even expanded into menswear. The clothing ranges up to approximately 250 dollars in pricing while totes go up to195 dollars.

Moving forward, the company may look to investors in order to expand even more. According to WWD, investors have been taking note of Cuyana due to their success. The company raised about 1.7 million dollars this year and has done well with its direct-to-consumer business model. “We did a lot of work and it took us a long time to find investors that actually aligned with the business that we wanted to build,” cofounder Karla Gallardo told the publication. For the future, it seems that the company is not planning to go anywhere and with its success, the brand may expand into more apparel ranges for its customers.
