While Target is usually known for big name designer collaborations, sometimes they select from a more low key design pool. This time, the retail giant has turned their eyes to Eddie Borgo for a jewelry and accessory collaboration. The capsule collection could help catapult Borgo to household name status if he is lucky.

Joseph Altuzzara, who is known as one of the premiere luxury designers, became a household name in part due to his collaboration last year with Target. Borgo already has a very impressive resume that proves he has gotten plenty of attention in the fashion industry already. In 2011, he won the CFDA Swarovski Award for accessory design, and he was also a Vogue/CFDA runner-up in 2010.

Borgo is already popular among the fashion editorial crowd thanks to people like Lauren Santo Domingo, Giovanna Battaglia, Kate Lanphear modeling in his ad campaigns. Borgo's collaboration with Target will hit stores in July, and will include accessories, jewelry, and wall art. Everything in the collection will be completely customizable.

You can start with a handbag or jewelry as a base, and from there you can add things like charms, studs, and geometric totems until you really feel that the piece is your own. In a statement, Borgo said "I was inspired by the idea of modernizing the 1960s and 1970s craft culture and empowering people to be creative." Prices for the collection will range from 7 dollars and 99 cents to 49 dollars and 99 cents. The official release date will be July 12, so mark your calendars if you are looking for some customizable accessories.
