India is home to beautiful textiles and garments. When we think of Indian garments and textiles though, we often imagine all the bright patterns mixed together, however, Eidos' creative director Antonio Ciongoli saw something different on his trip there. He noticed a lot of people wearing tonal colors, specifically a lot of navy and beige.

While Eidos has long focused on the textile traditions of Italy, this season they have decided to break out of their comfort zone by taking their inspiration from the streets of India. Taking risks can lead to something good, as evidenced by Ciongoli's excellent collection.

Some things were kept classic with Indian inspiration, for example there was a beautiful tonal cream silk and linen double breasted evening suit. Other garments were truly very Indian style, such as the white slub jersey knit kurta and iron cotton canvas ghurka trousers.

Despite the very foreign aspects to the collection, the tonal colors and easy-to-wear garments could translate to almost any man's wardrobe. There was something in this collection for everyone, including the guy looking for formal wear, the guy who keeps things casual, and the guy who wants a khadi cloth doti.

Ciongoli took a plunge with this collection, but it came out a perfect ten.
