Los Angeles - Last year, activewear brand Fabletics by Kate Hudson announced plans for retail expansion in the months to come. After following through with that strategy, the sportswear label has continued to expand also with its retail categories.

Primarily known for performance-enhancing and stylish clothing, Fabletics has built its brand targeted towards women who lead an active lifestyle. The brand offers lifestyle basics, athletic gear, gym wear and more. The newest addition to the brand will include a line of swimwear and dresses for spring. Using the same tactics that Fabletics has used to make high-quality gear in the past, the company is planning to create the same standard of comfort and style with dresses and swimwear. “We’ve taken our core fabrics and innovated the use of these performance and lifestyle fabrics to create our [new line], offering women a new way to wear Fabletics everywhere,” Shaun Kearney, vice president of design for the brand, told WWD. The new category will include dresses, rompers, and swimwear that will reflect versatility and comfort in design.

Earlier this month, the company expanded by introducing menswear to its line and announcing the opening of a new brick-and-mortar location at Mall of America. The store, which will be 2,000 square feet, is set to open its doors this spring. The flagship will offer Fabletics’ clothing ranging from 49.95 dollars in price. The brand’s newest swimwear and dresses line will range from 39.95 dollars to 69.95 dollars in price. The dress collection will retail starting April 1, while the swimwear collection will not be available until April 12.
