Los Angeles - Fashion Week Los Angeles (FWLA) recently added a new lifestyle brand to their normal roster of fashion designers. American-based fashion designer Cynthia Rowley officially announced that her eponymous line would be a part of this year’s FWLA.

The trade show, which is held at Union Station, is a recently established event that incorporates both runway fashion and Market Week. The week-long event serves as a trade event for apparel buyers, influential bloggers, and retailers. The trade show splits itself into categories consisting of fashion business in Los Angeles, shoes and accessories, ethical and sustainable fashion, contemporary runway, buying and selling, and more. In the past, the event featured designers such as Caitlin O’Connor, Ali Levine, Joshua Christiansen, and more. Last year was the event’s first initial trade event. The show, which was hosted in downtown Los Angeles, brought together networking opportunities for retailers, buyers, and fashion consumers alike.

Cynthia Rowley, known for designer dresses and handbags, just announced that it will be joining this year’s upcoming FWLA. Joining the ranks of other ready-to-wear brands that have exhibited in the past, the lifestyle brand adds its own unique take on Los Angeles fashion. “Cynthia joins a growing list of forward thinking apparel brands that understand Los Angeles is home to the highest concentration of global fashion [influencers],” said Christina Iannuzzi, FWLA executive. The New York-based label, founded in 1988, offers ready-to-wear womenswear, menswear, accessories, handbags, and more.
