Her handbags have become some of the most coveted in the fashion industry, and her runway show during New York Fashion Week is considered one of the hottest tickets in town. Not only that, but LVMH has even taken a stake in her brand. It's good to be Gabriela Hearst right now, and it's hard to believe that it could get even better, but the designer has taken the next step for her business and launched menswear. The news was reported by Vogue.

For her first menswear collection, Hearst enlisted the help of her friend, graphic designer Peter Miles. Miles is known for his excellent sartorial taste, and has been having his suits tailored to his exact specifications since 1993.

The working relationship between Hearst and Miles began in 2015 when she asked him to designer the logo for her brand. Miles has also worked with top fashion brands in the business, including Marc Jacobs and Celine. He's become Hearst's go to person for many of her creative decisions since then.

Suiting is a major part of the brand's menswear DNA. The collection includes three suiting styles, T-shirts made from Japanese milled cotton, hand-knit sweaters, a leather tennis bag, and a double-face cashmere trench done in a color that falls between lilac and grey.

The duo plan to produce two menswear collections a year to compliment the already successful womenswear line. Currently, Gabriela Hearst menswear is available at Mr Porter, Bergdorf Goodman, and the brand's flagship store on Madison Avenue.
