Gianvito Rossi shows spring 2018 collection at South Coast Plaza

For his pre-fall and spring 2018 collections, Gianvito Rossi chose luxury shopping mall South Coast Plaza this year. The designer used his boutique at the premier destination to showcase his new shoewear.

Rossi used his seventh operating store to feature his newest collections this season. The 1,617 square foot store, located at South Coast Plaza, doubled as a fashion launch in order to retail his shoes as well as mark his return to Southern California. His boutique also is the first of his stores to offer men’s shoes, according to WWD. In a special room, the store has sneakers made with a male target in mind. With both men’s and women’s footwear, Gianvito Rossi hosted his launch with cocktails hosted by Friends of CASA.

His brand, which originally launched in 2007, consists of glamorous, luxury shoes that have intricate detailing. Known for stiletto ankle boots and feminine designs, Rossi’s shoes have become popular internationally. Currently, Rossi has freestanding stores in Hong Kong, Paris, and Milan.
