Golf brand Canoos gains traction in the fashion industry

Canoos seems to have the lead when it comes to golf shoe fashion. The golf sport label recently has been featured at the U.S. Senior Open and has just launched its Canvas Golf Shoe style.

Golf Channel's Morning Drive Geoff Shackelford just highlighted the brand as the "biggest golf style revelation of 2017," according to a press release by the company. Shackelford has also worked at Golfweek magazine as a senior writer, regarding fashion and golf trends. In his blog, he named Canoos Golf Shoe as one of his holiday must-haves, solidifying the brand in the sports and fashion world. "[Canoos] provided plenty of support for this off-balance, golf-swinging soul," Shackelford stated in his blog. "They can be worn both on and off the course, [as the] number one prerequisite for all golf fashion."

In the past year, the New England-based golf brand has steadily grown in popularity. The brand's Original Boat Golf Shoe was featured at the U.S. Senior Open this year right after the Canvas Golf Shoe was just introduced. With Shackelford's status in the golfing industry, Canoos takes this move asa strong recognition. "2017 has been a great year for Canoos," Will Bacas, Brand Manager for Canoos, said in a statement. "To have [Shackelford] validate our success in producing great golf shoes and a vibrant brand is wonderful to read," said Bacas.
