For NYFW: Men's, Grungy Gentleman designer Jace Lipstein kept the New York street style gentleman in mind. By street style, meant in no reference to those flashy street style stars at New York Fashion Week, but truly just the average guy on the street who is dressing comfortably, who is still invested in the clothes on his back. He's the kind of guy found easily found around the streets of Harlem or Brooklyn who is patiently awaiting basketball season.

This season's collection was a true homage to New York City, T-shirts had the names of iconic streets on them, including Prince Street and Wall Street. In the spirit of New York City, the collection was also heavy on black, given New Yorker's penchant for head-to-toe black. Lipstein stuck to a neutral color palette, which also include, white, grey, khaki and navy blue.

The brand's signature six stripe motif was found on the sleeves of t-shirts, and even rendered in new ways to be emblazoned across sweaters and sweatshirts. Lipstein is after that guy who is taking his casual style cues from athletes, but wants to do better than basketball shirts and a plain t-shirt. It's obvious how he developed his following, he listens to what his guys want, which was strongly evidenced by this collection.
