Gucci Ghost is arguably still having its moment, but Gucci is already on to its next artist collaboration.

The luxury Italian fashion house has teamed up with British artist Helen Downie, otherwise known as Unskilled Worker, for a capsule collection of ready-to-wear, shoes, bags and accessories.

The collection will be a total of 40 items. It will feature signature Gucci merchandise, including bomber jackets, Princetown mules and GG Marmount shoulder bags, all with Downie's artistic flare. Downie is known for her portraits and florals that are done with her own off-the-wall twist.

The collection will launch on the brand's website on October 11, and will be available worldwide.

Gucci will be using the hashtag #unskilledworker to promote the campaign for the collection on digital channels and social media.

Downie's relationship with Gucci dates back to 2015 when creative director Alessandro Michele invited her to partake in an art exhibit at Shanghai's Minsheng Art Museum after he discovered her work on Instagram.

The magic that Alessandro Michele has created at Gucci still hasn't faded. The brand is still one of the most profitable brands under luxury conglomerate Kering, and their recent Milan Fashion Week show that was considered an homage to the eighties. It was met with another round of rave reviews by editors and industry professionals who are still loving what Michele has done for the brand.
