Gucci has gone back in time for its Fall/Winter 2018 campaign. Inspired by collectors of artifacts and fashion from the past, the line originally debuted during Milan Fashion Week and was presented alongside mythical creatures.

Gucci Collectors is a celebration of the outcasts and eccentrics and the new showcase of items features models posing alongside prized possessions that represent their passions and hobbies.

The images were shot by photographer Glen Luchford and feature colorfully staged setups like a dinner party hosted by Marie Antoinette.

The line "champions the notion that those who the mainstream often considers to be oddballs are frequently the most interesting and creative people," a press release from the brand reads, "and that true individuality is a badge of pride."

The Italian luxury house has put forth a throwback spirit as of late, releasing ‘90s inspired items as part of their Spring/Summer collection this year. The pieces, which include knit pullovers and tracksuits pay homage to SEGA video games and popular cartoons. The bold patterns also feature Bugs Bunny and Snow White graphics.

Last month, the brand’s vintage logo t-shirt was re-released featuring a shooting star and sequins material.
