H&M just announced their first ever collection for the Fourth of July. The themed collection will be available starting June 22 incorporating both American pride as well women empowerment.
The collection includes apparel with an American-theme color palette of red, white and blue. The pieces include a denim jacket with an American flag print design as well as light acid denim wash jeans. The collaboration also has one-pieces with flag designs as well as reigning patriotic colors. As the collection also is empowering for women, the shirts have messages such as "You Go Girl" and "Girls Support Each Other" as well.
H&M has also partnered with Girl Up in this collection in order to raise funds for girl leaders across the country. This specific collaboration will help fund Girl Up by donated one dollar for every purchase from the collection made up until July 4. Every store will also set up a register drive in order to help drive donations towards the campaign as well to help adolescent girls in development countries have a chance for education and health opportunities. Launching Thursday, June 22, the collection will be available in stores as well as through H&M's online website.
