Haggar Clothing Co. launches new online format

Dallas-based company Haggar Clothing Co. recently just launched a new e-commerce site. The menswear manufacturer’s new website was unveiled this Thursday, March 9.

The improved site will now allow customers to order in a user-friendly environment. "Our amazing digital team spent the last eight months developing, testing and perfecting our new platform,” chief executive officer Michael Stitt said in a statement. “Our new site offers the most extensive selection of Haggar pants & suit separates in an easy to navigate environment." The website also allows for a re-order feature, which is convenient for returning customers. "Haggar has an extremely loyal community of customers," said Eve Richey, chief digital officer for the brand. For customers who log in to their account they can order old products much easier than before. The site also includes a pant finder for consumers to find their perfect fit and style for the right occasion.

Established in 1926, Haggar Clothing Co. is known for its men’s fine dresswear including pants and slacks. The website comes at an opportune time for Haggar, as the company now has the number one selling dress pant and casual pant in America, according to The NPD Group Inc.’s Retail Tracking Service, Q4 2016. The brand’s online sales also grew by 28 percent last year, which shows that Haggar has started to perform well through an e-commerce format. The website is currently up now and available through its U.S. site.
