Helmut Lang and Travis Scott team for collab

Travis Scott recently announced a new collaboration with apparel brand Helmut Lang. Teaming together, the musician and contemporary brand will release a menswear collection.

Scott first unveiled the partnership through his Instagram account by posting a photo of sketches and black and white images. The post was captioned, “Helmut x la flame line,” where he explained that he did a collaboration with the minimalist brand. The new collection will have a range of 19 menswear pieces. The apparel will include outerwear jackets, denim, t-shirts, footwear and more. Ranging in prices from approximately 175 to 1,715 dollars; the collaboration will reflect Scott’s Texas roots with muted color tones, according to WWD.

Helmut Lang, which was established in 1986 has created a reputation for itself as a innovative, avant-garde label. After an acquisition from Fast Retailing in 2006, the company has improved and expanded globally. By pairing with Scott, the label may be debuting more edgy pieces, influenced from the rapper’s background. The new collection will be officially available in retailers and online starting January 30.
