After announcing a partnership with Hilary Duff in January, it seems like GlassesUSA.com is moving forward with its philanthropy efforts. The eyewear retailer has decided to donate part of its proceeds to the Hanalei-Haena Flooding Fund in support of those affect by the floods in Hawaiian communities.

The relief effort started officially Monday, April 30, and will last until Sunday, May 6. Five dollars of every pair of glasses from the Muse x Hilary Duff collection sold through GlassesUSA.com. "I've been lucky enough to visit Hanalei Bay a few times and this place is truly magical," Duff said of the community. "It has a strong sense of community and I'm devastated to think that it's currently been completely flooded. Many homes and businesses are under water. I'm honored to be partners with GlassesUSA who continue to jump on board when a cause close to my heart needs help." As the rains affected various island communities in mid-April, the collection's donations efforts are meant to help restore some of the roads, houses, and bridges that were destroyed. "At GlassesUSA.com, extending a helping hand to our customers' communities in a time of need is a priority aligned with our company's values and beliefs," Daniel Rothman, chief executive officer of GlassesUSA.com said in a statement.

The Muse x Hilary Duff eyewear collection was meant to inspire self-empowerment with a stylish aesthetic. The collection retails for about 100 dollars per pair through the company's online sit. The line has over 23 styles in various colors and shapes. The glasses are also available as prescription styles. The collection was originally made available in January 2018. The collaboration will benefit the Hanalei-Heana Flooding Fund until next Sunday.
