Los Angeles - Hip-hop artist Tyga and high-end streetwear designer Daniel Patrick, recently just announced their new collection. Launching on September 22, the collection will be available at REVOLVEman featuring various styles.
The full collection includes various hoodies and ripped jeans ranging from eight different styles. With a monochromatic color palette, the limited edition collection stays true to Patrick’s roots in designing.
“As a designer it was exciting to work with someone that I’ve listened to musically for many years and have him embrace the aesthetic and offer a new point of view and a new take on it,” said Patrick.
With a militant emphasis on the designs, the styles and silhouettes include pieces such as the Hero Bomber, Oversized Tee, Low Crotch Skinny Jean, and Hoodie. The jeans in particular were worked on by the duo with intricate special details such as a matte T in the center of the button and a Daniel Patrick X T-Raww patch on the inside.
There have been quite a few hip hop and fashion collaborations happening recently, including Rihanna's Fenty x Puma pop-up as well as Kanye West's Life of Pablo's pop-ups in the past. Patrick's collaboration with Tyga shows how closely interrelated the two can be as far as artistically. “Music and fashion may be two different worlds but they closely intertwine and the hip hop world has always been a source of inspiration for [me],” said Patrick.
The pieces range from 110 to 600 dollars and will be available at both REVOLVEman as well as Patrick’s flagship store off of Melrose.
