"It-Girl" Alexis Ren moves forward with her activewear label subscription box

With a following of about 9.5 million on Instagram alone, Alexis Ren has now moved towards her own fashion line. The influencer has collaborated with the founders of Touché LA, Karl and Jaynee Singer, in order to launch an activewear label and subscription box service.

Made completely in Los Angeles, her eponymous label comes out on July 10, complete as a launch with an available subscription service. Instead of just launching a simple fashion line, the box is a way for Ren to personalize her items for her customers. "It’s definitely a Millennial way to do things," Ren told WWD.

The process works by first asking customers to take a survey on her site: renactive.co. The survey allows for the company to assess "favorite styles" so that the brand can tailor its choices for the subscription boxes. The boxes also contain exclusive styles, according to the website, that are only available for subscription members. After signing up, the activewear products are delivered once a month.

She opted for the subscription route due to its convenience as well as "surprise" element for subscribers. Each box will contain a piece of activewear from her line as well as fitness gear. The gear can range from a water bottle, sweatband, or yoga mat. The subscription costs 69 dollars for customers and is available online. According to WWD, the brand will also be accessible at select retailers.

At the age of 20 years old, her Ren Active line will mark Ren's first fashion line. Known for her active lifestyle as well as fit physique, her following suggests that a fashion launch based on fitness may prove successful for the digital influencer. Launching July 10, the line will be available through renactive.co.
