J.Crew and the American Museum of Natural History revive their collaboration for back-to-school

J.Crew is returning to the American Museum of Natural History for a limited-edition capsule, reviving a partnership the retailer first struck in 2015.
For children, the assortment includes graphic tees, a special-edition Rollneck, jewelry and dinosaur-skeleton slippers. The girls' offering leans on a butterfly and Hall of Gems motif across necklaces, bracelets, sweatshirts and a velvet riding moccasin. Adult pieces run to graphic tees and fleece, a baseball cap, a washed Seaport tote and an English silk dinosaur tie.
The capsule is available now on jcrew.com and at select J.Crew stores.
The reunion arrives as J.Crew continues to build out a collaboration strategy under chief executive Libby Wadle. In January, the brand launched a three-year lifestyle apparel partnership with U.S. Ski & Snowboard ahead of the Winter Olympics — part of a wider effort to tie its heritage American positioning to recognizable institutions and cultural moments.
